Third Year Financial Planning Major and Pitcher at Biola University
Hello, I am Blake Wentz, a third-year Biola University student from Huntington Beach, CA. I am a self-motivated, determined, organized student-athlete who’s passionate about baseball and investments. I strive to hone my skillsets through education and experience with the goal of contributing to my community in a meaningful way.
About Me
Stay Hard
As a chosen leader on the Biola Baseball team, I strive to embody a mindset of relentless self-improvement and resilience. My passion for athletics and leadership has shaped my approach to life, both on and off the field. I firmly believe that how you do anything is how you do everything, and this principle drives me to excel not only in baseball but also in academics and personal growth.
One of my greatest inspirations is David Goggins, whose story of perseverance and mental toughness motivates me daily. Like Goggins, I am committed to pushing beyond my limits and embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. His ability to connect with and inspire his audience in a genuine and impactful way is something I admire deeply. I aim to carry these lessons into my own life, using them to lead my team effectively and to fuel my future career in finance.
As I hone my skills in financial planning, I aspire to bring the same level of discipline and authenticity to my professional journey that I apply to my athletic pursuits. Whether on the baseball field or in the boardroom, my goal is to inspire and motivate others through a commitment to excellence, resilience, and authenticity just as Goggins has inspired me.
